What a detail oriented guy. I love it. Went through the exact thing you are. Thought long and hard about a color, both inside and out. I've had many black cars, and they look fantastic, but I ultimately decided on orange for a few reasons, most of which are personal (not secret or anything silly, just preference) but the two biggest reasons were 1) you are right, the light colors show the lines better and 2) I doubt if I could ever buy ORANGE in any other car. It certainly stands out - thats the one thing I did not expect. I've had several sports cars, and I knew the G was special, but underestimated the magnitude of attention it gets...people take pictures while driving down the road - I look in my rear view and a guy has a camera - people pass and 50% of the time they are taking pictures. I believe a lot of the reason is the orange color. So just be prepared.

I'm guessing on resale, but I doubt the limited run will make much difference - they have made SO MANY Gallardo's compared to other models that the market it full of them, and will continue to be full of them. This volume will accelerate the depreciation on the lot. Since the most popular colors are orange and yellow, I think you would be able to sell one of those faster than black.

Good luck - and have fun buying.
