I just got my new Gallardo, and I went through the same process you are going through. I was hell bent on Pearl Yellow, and then I don't know what came over me, but I had to go black. I don't mind the upkeep, it is worth it! The only regret with Black is that it does not show off the air intakes like a bright color does.

I was also afraid that I would grow tired very quickly of a loud color. Not to mention I do need the extra attention the bright colors grab. I think black is pure and simple and absolutely awesome. It is powerful and dynamic and just looks incredible.

Now having said all that, I really don't think there is a wrong or bad color on a Gallardo. This car is so drop dead gorgeous that it can wear anything and look fabulous.
