ok, I had that same problem when I put some new rotors and pads on my mini, it went away after a few hundred miles. no hard stopping for the first couple of hundred miles to seat the pads, you progressively stop harder and harder with a few minutes between stops to let them cool (no hard stops at stop lights)... finally they got quiet.
