you are doing it the right way by making an appointment. Do not go unanounced. Speak with the salesperson before you go down, let him know what you are looking for, price range and that you would like to test the one you are interested in. Be prepared to work the deal beforehand, and if the car checks out after the test drive you will be prepared to buy. Dealers shy away from tire kickers and joy rides and are hesitant to just let any body give these cars a spin.
