I had a fat lady lean over to look at the clear mask line and dump ice cream on the hood less than a half hour after having the car washed. I've had kids leaning against the windows, with jackets open (luckily no zipper scratches) and I've had lots of people leaning against the car for a picture. Somehow leaning against the car makes it look more like theirs or something. I caught one guy just about to put his foot on the rear bumper for a picture. I don't get it. Because of stuff like this, I valet park unless it absolutely can't be helped. (I keep printed laminated instructions for valets after one claimed to know the car then dragged it with the parking brake on.) Where I take the car takes some planning as it does attract attention, both good and bad depending on where I go. There are places in Orange County where I can take the car without it getting a second look and that's kind of nice. How people react to the car seems to be completely random. Most of the time people are very respectful and are just happy to see it, and other times I get some self-centered jerk who doesn't respect anything. The car sometimes attracts some really odd individuals. One guy came up was bragging to me that he just sold his earlier that day. He was driving an old very beat up Lexus. Minutes later, I saw him bent over that same Lexus in handcuffs. I also had a guy come up to me and start the usual chat, then he tells me he's was wanted by the police and wanted a ride anywhere out of there. He wasn't kidding either. Pick your landing spot carefully!
