I don't know about clutch life differences, but on one of the most recent rallies where we were driving though a lot of sharp turns, constant shifts, changes in incline and decline, I could smell the clutch from a manual shift car right in front of me. I know my shift changer were a lot faster and that's an e-gear strong point. It could have been the driver, but I'm not sure I'd have been any better. At this point, I'd not consider anything but e-gear.

My Gallardo just arrived today and I do smell the clutch all the time. I know it's not me riding on the clutch because I've been driving manual all my life. I was wondering if this is normal. With the shift gates, it's a little difficult to shift and it doesn't go in gear as smooth. You have to give it more effort and it takes some of the fun out of driving. Any of you out there feel the same?
