I've not had any of the same issues. I did have some jerking in the first 500 miles or so, and only once in a while, like on an incline, but that was adjusted and I've not had any problems since. Your comments about pulling into a garage with a 15 degree driveway is interesting as I've not had to park in tha situation yet. You are the first I've read to go back to manual and it's great feedback.

I did a check of four different dealers and their inventory of 31 cars in total. Of the 31, only two were manual transmission. None were Murcs.
