I'm a little guy, I'm only 5'6 130lbs. - I should have no problems with space on the inside. - From what I've been reading that is a common complaint among taller drivers.

As for the e-gear I've heard a lot of owners complain, I'll be sure to purchase the 6speed gear box. - Always been a fan of manual.

As for maintenance what types of things are needing replacement often? Primary reason I ask, the closest dealer/workshop that could handle this car would be Chicago, 17 hour drive. - I'm thinking once a year it would be a fun trip to take in the car, however if I'm going to have to pay for transport to keep the miles off I may have to pick another car if there is constant work needing to be completed.

From the lack of responses I'm starting assume that there is minimal work required for this car.

To my knowledge the clutch is the biggest concern. - For those of you whom have had to replace the clutch, do you rod the car? Or is this just something that happens because of the amount of power?

Tires, again are you burning rubber? Or is this just due to tire placement and natural wear? I know on my BMW and Mercedes the inside part of the tires wear very quickly, no matter how I drive. - Aggressively or conservative.


Does anyone know if an Audi dealer would have the skills/equipment to work on this car? I have a family friend who owns an R8, the dealer is able to work on it.... hmmm
