As taurean bull implied, it really depends on your "real world needs". I also had a Dodge Viper GTS (1997), and that car measured
lower than the Gallardo and I only experienced hearing the (extreme) underside lip "brush" a few times in maybe 7 years. Maybe I'm more careful than most ?
