I just did what you are contemplating for the very same reasons. The biggest thing is to go with an '06 or later model. The Nera obviously fits that bill. The car had significant revisions made for the '06 model year and addressed the clutch issues as well as significant upgrading. The change to the new exhaust was a massive improvement. The cars sounds so good it is criminal. I bought an "06 coupe and the difference between the 360 is night and day. The G feels like a modern car. The reliability of Audi with the passion of Lamborghini.
