Well, I didn't really ask him to pump it up any. He had a multiangle valve job done with the new stainless valves. That's supposed to give a few extra horse but talking to a friend of mine, one of the engineers that did alot of development work on the Eaton Superchargers for cars, he claims that after months of testing different valve grind angles there is really no measurable rise in horsepower after you go past 2 angles. I also had my headers ceramic coated inside and out which has proven to lower engine bay temperatures by half and give a 2 to 3 percent power increase. I also had the radiator recored with a higher effeciency core which should lower the temperature and give me a small bump while protecting the engine. There's a couple of gear heads in this forum that could really tell you how to bump up the power!

If the lobe is wiped out it is due to improper hardening (courtesy of Lamborghini), or in rare cases a cut-off oil supply; although the cams/lifters can get by with quite a limited oil supply without damage.

Cam journal. The aluminum had to be built up and remachined. I haven't heard any bad remarks from George or Mike about my Cam Lobes but thanks for the info Paul. One more thing to worry about!

Great Jalpa_Aus!
P.S. trying to get George to answer a couple of your questions. I wanted to pay a visit Saturday but it didn't work out so I'm planning on getting down this week. I'll talk to him then if he hasn't gotten you the answers.
