I was having the same discussion last week at MPH show, 6 Speed or E-Gear.

Well I wanted to ask a few questions.

1) What problems have members had with the E-Gear I heard there was recall a few recall, and pump failures etc.

2) Does the E-Gear work on the same principle as DSG, two clutches one selecting odd gear ratios and one selecting even gears?

3) Clarkson said the DSC Flappy Paddles was the only one on the market that actually worked? Its funny as hes gone and brought a 6 speed Gallardo, roadster.

I'm still undecided, I am looking to purchase a Gallardo at some point in the future. I've just come back from the Gauge in South of France after 5 days of epic driving fun. For that kind of blast I personally would have enjoyed it more with a manual, than an E-Gear.

There has also been question marks concerning, buying an E-Gear as an auto. Why is that? Is it rough and jerky on gear changes.
