Default Should a poor man buy a Lambo? YES with planning

Ok so the house is paid for you know what you bills are - do some reseach.

Things you want to know:

Trade offs - new lambos have more options so look at pricing and see if the options are worth the extra cash

Maintenance - pick a car that will have lower maintenance costs

If the engine has to come out for a major maintenance then you are going to pay (for instand an engine out on Murcielago can be about 15k) each time you hit about 15k - 20k miles.

You can get financing for 12 years = lower payment. Put some cash down so you have an equity position in the vehicle. If you change your mind you can always dump it in a few years.

make sure you look at depreciation and mileage - going over the 20k threashold for mileage will hurt the resale vale.

Hope this helps - any how I got a Gallardo for 139k minus about 45k trade for my porche = a little over a thousand a month.
