The more pictures I see of the Jamara the more I like it, the classy GT lines are really really growing on me. And I am liking the prices of these cars.

My questions are fairly basic, I have all the production numbers engine type etc etc but what I want to know is what are some problematic areas on this car? Other than having to tune 6 carbs! I would love to buy one and am starting my research. I am planning to buy in about a year... so dont bother linking me to possible cars cause they will most likely be sold by the time I am in the field. My biggest question though is is this a good first exotic/classic car, or am I bitting off more than I could chew. I have basic technical knowledge and a great willingness to learn and a few freinds who are well above average in wrenching knowledge.

How much would it be to maintain a year... aprox... I am figuring on about $5,000 a year(average obviously more some years and less others) is this a good estimate or am i way short?
