Thanks for the suggestion, it worked :-). I THOUGHT I had followed the MSD wiring instructions and the Jalpa wiring diagram to get the correct wires but obviously not. It has been one of those frustrating things where you spend the money to try and get things to run better and they don't. I will take the car for a test run next time it is off the jacks just to confirm but everything is looking good.
