The car starts Ok but when I touch the throttle it wants to stall and the spark starts breaking down (coff & splutter) If you can get it to REV past 1200RPM it revs quite cleanly. It may start to miss a little in the higher RPM above 5000RPM, Very annoying when you are trying to take off. I am running the heavy red wire directly to the starter moter, I initially had a chasis earth but are now running a wire directly back to the negative side of the battery as recommended in the MSD intall. The Car is running so I am guessing that the rest of the wiring is OK. They talk about "keeping the trigger wires seperate from the other wires". I am runing my trigger wires into the old bosh loom so it is shared with the ign 12 power source not sure if that would be a problem or not? The High tension Leads look new (Not that I replaced them) they came with the car. So I plan to check the resistance of the leads just to see how they compare to the MSD recommendations, can't find that figure at the moment. Any suggestions appreciated :-)
