Whats funny is at this very momemet, there is a white Jalpa on Ebay that came off the assembly line one before mine(12276). I called on it just to see what it was all about. The sales person had no answers about the service history except for a binder that he had somewhere and there was a bunch of work done to it. Asked the obvious, were the valves done? Uh, dont think they need it was his reply. How is the electrical? Everything works, is what he said.

There is a big difference between cars that start and go down the road and those that will last without headaches. Unfortunately, price does not always follow this logic.
