brakes will squeal especially if you do not use them with vigor - the pads are near race quality and so are very hard and tend to squeal under light loads. Try EBC Reds for a bit quieter and good pad for the street and light track.

Engine problems I do not know, other than the sucking noise - engines use air and the air intakes are right on the tops of the quarter panels and very audible esp with windows down.
