I did not find that to be the case at all; I've driven my '06 G at Sebring, including a day on the short course which is a brake nightmare, and didn't have any issues. This was on a G spyder with about 2000 miles on it from new at the time, stock TYP 200 fluid and pads. I touched ABS throughout the day so I know I was mashing it. Admittedly, I was babying it through some of the concrete-lined corners as I wasn't really wanting to take it home in different condition than I brought it, but it handled well. Not on par with my Radical by any means but for a street car on Conti Sport 2 street tires, it did admirably. Problem I have now is I probably did about 2000 miles worth of wear on the front left tire since Sebring is a lot of hard right handers and with asymettrical tires, all four will have to go early.
