95 degrees C is OK, since this is measured at the engine, normally the radiator fans switch on at that temperature. If they don't the car would overheat, depending on how the car is wired the temp switch works on both fans (like mine did).
You can check the aux fan switch by turning ignition key to position one, now you should be able to hear them, the switch in my car worked also on both fans.
I suppose the aux fan switch was to bridge a broken temp switch.
BTW: tunring on the ac causes also the fans to operate, this caused many times a burnt fuse on my car although I put a 30 Amp fuse in the fuse box.
Therefore I suggested lambosavy to switch the fans when he had the radiator out anyway.
