thanks for the update and the illustration!! I (obviously) wasn't aware that the cable was one piece. This newer arrangement seems an improvement e-brake balance wise. As long as you're educating me, two questions if you wouldn't mind :-)

Can you briefly summarize installation - what do you have to remove/thread?

Where are the springs on the brake 'arm' end of the cable positioned ... to the rear of the 'arm' ?
