temp should not matter. usually unwarmed vehicle has rougher idling and less responsive throttle. This is why your clutch might seem dull in the cold start. the best way to test the slipping of your clutch is to drive slow on the first gear up to 5-6k rpm. Then quickly shift to third and full throttle at the same time. if your rpm revs up freely without the vehicle accelerating in correspondence, the clutch is definitely slipping. Otherwise, if the rpm just drops dead even with full throttle on abrust shifting to third from first gear, your clutch is working perfectly. Of course, this only applies to manual transmission. Don't know about the egear. Never had one, never will have one.
