I'm not sure that's true. I believe an OEM head unit can be successfully installed to add NAV to an MY04, and dealers can reflash the car with a correct zip file to make sure everything works together correctly. OE Lambo nav head units run around $2800-3000 though, and you'd most certainly need a GPS antenna. I agree with Monahan about some aftermarket units being better though, but I'm a fan of simplicity, big buttons, & easy to use.
