Thanks - somehow I missed your reply until today, sorry!!

Maybe we should start a new thread for R134 conversions ... :-)

Anyway, I've heard quite a few different opinions about being able to flush the old system well, how seals hold up w/ the new refrigerant etc. Bottom line not too positive although I know a lot of folks have done it ... Not to the point where I need A/C yet (this summer), but was gathering info for what was involved ... Hadn't heard mention of a new dryer ...

Why not convert? I've actually had trouble finding folks who deal w/ the old refrigerant believe it or not ... Surprised me!! Maybe I haven't looked hard enough yet.
