I just noticed over on the Ferrari-Talk forum that apparently after almost a year having being diagnosed with cancer, John Vallandingham (JRV to most of us) is not doing well. JRV is well known to many of us in both the Ferrari and Lamborghini web forums community. For many of us, his forum in the early days was how we got educated about our cars and while I know some had issues with him in terms of how to run the forums, it must be said he was one of the first to get the forum concept really going. Personally I have to say I found him most helpful and appreciate the time he took to answer my (sometimes) stupid questions.

JRV if you are listening I wish you a speedy recovery. I hope you are in good medical hands there. Hang in there.
