While I have heard of an early CT set up with a hand clutch for a disabled owner, I haven't heard of many people going this route.
This is an alternate suggestion that may work for you.

If you go to some of the sporting goods stores and ask for a "lifestyle runner"
you may find a shoe that will work for you . I have size 11's and was driving in socks till I found these. The brand I got was Puma but I have seen others.
The shoe is narrow at the widest point with a very thin sole. (it looks like a low top racing shoe or wrestling shoe). It should eliminate the problem of your feet getting caught between the pedals.
