Hi Raymond, all I can say is that, "you are the man...",
With the key in the first position, I checked for the sound of the fuel pumps and the humming of the ignition box like you recommended. I couldn't really hear anything from the fuel pumps, but the ignition box was humming like a supercharged mosquito. I then tried to locate the starter to give it a rap. Talk about almost impossible to even get a glimpse of the thing... I couldn't jack the car up for more crawl space underneith, because my tool kit was stolen out of the car along with just about everthing else that could be unbolted quickly, and of course, standard floor jacks haven't got a chance to fit anywhere under the car. I finally slid a shop light under the area I thought the starter might be and looked from the top. Low-and-behold there it was, well not really, all I could actually see was a small end of it while looking down between the exhaust. I had just enough room for a small hammer and two fingers to hold on to it with. I awkwardly tapped the end about a half dozen times, go in the car, turned the key, and she started right away. I let it run for a little while, shut it off, and it started back up just fine. Thank you very much for your help... I really appreciate the fact that you were able to save me from the dealership beating I would have become a victim of. Thanks again...
