Actually, it seems the cars that are garage trophies are the ones that need more work.
Driven cars - - Need oil changes, brake flushes, tires. Over time, they'll need services as well.
Garage trophies - - Still need all that, and when they finally get driven, all the gaskets & seals have dried up, and there's oil leaks everywhere. Tires with dry rotting & flat spots, dead batteries, computers that set CEL lights because they can't run right on flat gas.
I see the mentality of "the more you drive it the more it costs" but there's another side to that coin....
