I think you came out on top.
Just think what would have happened if you purchased the car and had to deal with them regarding problems. Better to know who you are dealing with before giving them cash.
Most people think that because it's a Lamborghini (exotic) dealership that they have passed some kind of special honesty dealer association tests. And although all of the sales people I've had the good opportunity to talk to seem very honest. This doesn't negate the fact that in the end they are all just what they are...car salesmen. And you do have to watch you own A$$ (interests) from start to finish when making a deal. You should have known this. Shame on you. You should also have dealt with someone with a long reputation of good customer service; otherwise you are taking a very big chance. Besides the financial downside, it makes the whole purchase experience, which is a great and special part of the owning an exotic car, ruined from the start. Oh, I hate that!
So, again feel lucky you came out on top. Just start over and enjoy the ride.
