This Shelby is unrelated to Carrol Shelby...just a coincidental name. The way I understand it, the remote door woro by air pressure (but I don't know if you could still get locked it..that would be a strange AAA call!) I think it's a little risky putting a deposit in this early too...if I'm not careful my better judgement can be trumped by the possibility of 908 HP! But thanks for the warning.

It will be interesting to see if they get the speed records (240.1, McLaren). Manufacture stats mean little if they haven't been substantiated, plus who really know the HP of cars these days. I heard that Car & Driver's test of the SL600 was tainted because Benz sent them a car with 80 HP too much (0-60 3.6). So who really knows until you drive one of these supercars (or ask a reliable source like Lambotalk!).

Today I was poking around the CHP website and right on the homepage is a form to fill out if you want to FINK ON SOMEONE WHO HAS AN OUT OF STATE CAR! That would be rude...you'd think they'd have more pressing matters than a little more smog. CA has the most strict smog regulations and of course still has the worst smog.
