The AC remained the same except the cooler/evaporator located in the center console (25th is different), the difference was only that instead of the turning know there is an electronic unit which displays the temperature and has the knobs built in.
The function to turn of the compressor on/off was not changed.
Some changes are noted from chassis 910 on but my car was the first to get the enlarged dashboard with the side vents.
