George, nobody buys these cars without a PPI and a test drive. i understand insurance regs ect. i have had 3 ferraris and 2 lamborghinis in the last 18 months.
as far as " doing my homework", how can i do any homework on a car that is several states away. i owned and just sold a 1985 Jalpa vin *12250* . these cars are different car to car depending on care band milage. you should know that as an almighty dealer and collector.
be aware that i am posting all of this publicly as fact on three message boards. i find your conduct to be dissapointing. if you really had a buyer that failed to get finacing as you said, then you should jump at someone who has owned and worked on a Jalpa and has cold hard cash in hand.
i wish you well with your new Ford GT and i hope you get what you desire for the Jalpa on Ebay. i assure i would buy the car on the spot as long as i found nothing major wrong with it. the car needs a good 20 minute drive on public roads to get up to temperature to see what it needs. the fact that you wont allow this is ridiculous. you either have something to hide, or you have very poor customer care skills. all car dealers have minimum basic insurance. my policy through Hagery for my 911 Carrera or my State Farm policy would cover me either way no matter what i drive.
Michael Morett 912
this was the last email to him that he is replying to. all i said was i felt he had something to hide by his conduct. he is a well known dealer and service dept. why would he treat ANY customer this way. how does I HAVE CASH not translate??? no wife to ask, no kids to feed, ect ect. and i am known inthe community for the other 2 lambos , 2 911s and 3 Ferraris i have had, by pics and vin numbers. look at the Cross Reference threads i have posted on Jalpas AND Urracos.
i am not a " poser ", nor am i a "Player" to him .
