I think you're pitching a bit low...unless you can get a better price than market value because you are friends.

I mean, I would consider buying it myself for parts at US$13,000! The parts appear to be all there - and that's half the battle with a car like this.

I would imagine market value would be from US$20,000 upwards. But for your own protection, suggest you get the chassis number so you can check the car on the registry, and then get someone to inspect it. If it has been run with the air filters removed, as in the photo, there might be bigger problems...
