The Jalpa is definitely not for the track, I drive circles with my 944 Turbo around the little bull...

On my car water temperature is not issue but the oil, it raises to 140 degrees, I remarked a gap between the inlet and the shield which leads the air onto the oil cooler.
I try to reweld it a little bit on weekend to use the entire air flow.
