I visited the Brussels dealership today. They have a red Espada with brown interior in the showroom. The only information the sales guy could give me was the serial number and the year (1970). The car was locked (?!) so I have no idea of the mileage. It had new Belgian licence plates on it, so I guess it's being used. When I asked about the price (always been a sucker for 'the weird Lambo') the sales guy called his boss and the answer I got was: 'make an offer'. Can anybody help me ? Is an Espada as unreliable (in general) as a Countach ? Is this a car you can expect to drive , let's say 10.000 miles a year , given good maintenance that is ? If I take a (good) friend and brilliant mechanic with me, what should he specifically look at ? What is a reasonable price for this car ? Am I completely nuts even to consider buying it ?
