When you rebuilt the the alt how many amps is it now. I have a 66, but wanted to put a 105 AMP in. My restoration shop said there is no room and they cannot seem to find one that will fit or work.

David I ran into the same thing. I wanted a 105 but couldn't get one. I bought a 65 amp and switched the the face plates. It was not as easy as I thought it would be. It is a tight fit. It goes in like a puzzle piece.
