Of course we don't know all the details but I would imagine that KB would not have thrown in the towl without good reason. From what I read it was not a money issue but a lack of support from the factory. There is no excuse for it. Lamborghini could have been on the verge of racing greatness with a little more time and money spent. It is just a little frustrating to see Maserati (Ferrari) putting the MC12 on the podium in two races.
