Dolphins belong in the ocean, not on a car. |

We've savaged this car like clockwork every 60 days for the past year or more. I could use these threads as calendar months... |

I'm a big Lassen and Wyland art fan, but I would not want to be seen driving that car. Now, if you're going to hang than car on a wall, then I guess it's ok. Raymond |

I’ve seen his work in Raymond’s neck of the woods ( LA Jolla ) and in Vegas. The one in Vegas has a 348 spider with a similar paint job. I think it’s a waste |

I think Laasen lived in Hawaii, hence the older Hawaiian registration. Laasen art on a Diablo? I love it, ... I think it is beautiful, and not to mention added value, plus it makes the car even more special... but then, you either love or hate something like this. It has to be maintained. You may need to call Laasen to come over and touch it up from time to time, for a small nominal fee of 50k per Dolphin, hehehe I wonder how people here feel about the Diablo with the Tiger painting? This Laasen car was on eBay a while ago, I forget what it was going for but I think it was lower than I expected. Then someone bought it, and I seem to recall they had it showing somewhere and listed at a much higher value than the eBay price. Eye of the beholder, I suppose. Someone will probably pay 300-400k for it one day. |

I think it is beautiful, and not to mention added value, plus it makes the car even more special... Actualy just the opposite. It has ruined the value on the car. When it was on ebay , about 4 times, nobody would touch it beacuase of the art on it. If it were bulls, dolphin's, or the winning lotto numbers nobody is going to give what they would for one that still has its factory paint. In my eye's someone paid thousands to have that painted on there and it will cost twice that to get that car back right ! |

You guys are high, that car is badass! I would own it in a second! However, I am pretty green here, being just a lowly Jalpa guy.. I will concede to the overwhelming evidence posted by you high guys that the car has diminished value. However, the 'gay' concepts are lame, and the I think the purple is unique... and I ain't gay! ... chicks will dig it, too! Don't be afraid of the colors chicks dig, hehehehe.... the only argument against I saw that made sense was the 'art upon art' arguement... I can definitely relate to that concept. |

ok.. I've seen the car up close as well as the 348.. One word.. WASTE and as far as added value is concerned lets just say the man doesnt live up to his art.. Met him a few years ago and nearly came to blows with him ... He's a tool and the once amazing bull is now a useless dolphin car.. Might sell well at SEA WORLD |

Dietrick, there is nothing wrong with the purple. I actualy think the purple se30 is the best color to have. It is an amazing color up close and if i ever own an se30 i would hope it to be that color !However to air brush on a car of that stature is butchery! P.S , there is no such thing as a lowly jalpa ! |

I've seen it in person at Scottsdale lotus about a year ago. I love lassens work and the car to me was more of a show piece than a driver of course, the one thing though that in a way bugged me was that lassens signature had almost completely worn off on the trunk. |

>>Similar style but with a little more passion<< I think you may have hit upon the missing element....certian cars...especially Lambos..."The Marque of The Raging Bull"...are inseperable from "passion". If you take away or delute that "passion" it's going to be hard to find a wide audience with the passionate car crowd. |
